Happy for her hearing device

The aunt of my husband will be celebrating her birthday next month. It's her 94th birthday. And like we always wish for her and that her good health. About 8 to 10 years ago, she started to loss of hearing already. So even she encountered that problem already, she still able to mingle with us. We sometimes make our voice loud in case she can't hear us clearly. But 5 years ago, she finally got a hearing device that would help her to hear other people conversation or when people talk to her. Indeed, it's useful for her and she's very much happy with it.

with the train on the way to Paris

Since hubby was not fond of long distance driving, so we decide to took a train going to Paris. Well, we can also took a plane but the airport was far from the hotel that we stay. Well, I never feel any hassle that we took a train because it's also comfy chair. Only it's annoying when we were departing from Rotterdam to Paris because it took so long that we leave. The train was delayed for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Luckily they make it up with some free lunch and when we were on the way back home, everything went all okay. Well, problems sometimes it happen, not only the train but to any other transportation. I know it's irritating feeling but must learn how to deal with it because it's not always perfect.

Wrong sent

hmm...a friend of mine sent me a link of AffordableLabOvens.com for lab ovens, I wonder why she did that, so I sent her message back. And today I got a reply from her that she did a wrong sent to me. She said that her friend that she must sent the link has the same name as me. So probably she didn't notice that it sent to a wrong person. Well, good that I message her, so now she can send it to the correct person. I guess her friend needs a new lab ovens or else she doesn't need to do that. Well, I don't need this oven but it's just nice to see some oven display that they have in their site.

They prefered cigars

Hubby and I had a long talked last night about the package that we send to the family. I'm done buying some stuff already to other members of the family. Only for grandpa and grandma I'm still thinking on what to buy. I have no idea on what to buy for them and hubby suggested that cigars can be a good present for them. At first I'm hesitant with his idea but when I talked to my grandparents and asked them what they want, then they prefer cigars. So before this month end we make sure that we can purchase the filtered cigars for them. I'm sure it makes them happy.

The Eiffel Towe in Paris

The Eiffel Tower is an iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris, named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Erected in 1889 as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair, it has become both a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest structure in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world; 7.1 million people ascended it in 2011. The third level observatory's upper platform is at 279.11 m the highest accessible to public in the European Union and the highest in Europe as long as the platform of the Ostankino Tower, at 360 m, remains closed as a result of the fire of August 2000. The tower received its 250 millionth visitor in 2010.

The tower stands 320 metres (1,050 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to assume the title of the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years, until the Chrysler Building in New York City was built in 1930. However, because of the addition, in 1957, of the antenna atop the Eiffel Tower, it is now taller than the Chrysler Building. Not including broadcast antennas, it is the second-tallest structure in France, after the Millau Viaduct. The tower has three levels for visitors.

riding helmets

On the way back home, I saw a group of young people walking in the centrum. I'm curious when I saw them because everyone has it's own helmet. I thought that they might own a scooter, so they must used a helmet for security purposes. Then the second thing I notice was the boots, seems like most of them wear almost the same boots. And when I passed by them, i just heard that they were talking about horse riding. Now I figure it out that it's a riding helmets that they carry. And probably they are learning on how to ride a horse or they already know how to ride a horse. I never tried to ride a horse but seems like it's interesting to try.
